Valhalla Spatial Training for Surgeons - In collaboration with leading surgeons from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London UK, Tigerlily Digital is proud to announce the completion of its first generation of software for surgical 3D gesture controllers, called Valhalla. In first time scenario use, our accelerometry technology integrated with existing surgical instrument breaks from traditional prototypes and has been guided in development by our newly appointed Head of Medical Research. Surgical training is entering the realms of highly ubiquitous data capture in 3D virtual simulations and we are leading the development of new software applications of wireless accelerometry (orientation and spatial awareness). Participant studies are currently being undertaken to evaluate and redefine the speed and accuracy of laparoscopic surgical training, via synthesis of our technologies with existing surgical tools.
